Bielefeld Interactive Intelligent Systems Exhibit at the AUTOMATICA 2010

With the Centre of Excellence on Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) and the Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab), Bielefeld University will be presenting its focus of research on interactive intelligent systems before an international expert public at the AUTOMATICA Fair in Munich from 8 to 11 June 2010.

Funding Extended for the Collaborative Research Centre "Alignment in Communication": German Research Foundation to Fund SFB 673 for a Further 4 Years

The Bielefeld Collaborative Research Centre 673 "Alignment in Communication" is to receive 4 more years of funding according to an announcement by the German Research Foundation (DFG) this week. ToBi reaches the finals in the RoboCup German Open

The Team of Bielefeld (ToBI) reaches the finals in the RoboCup German Open in Magdeburg from 15 to 18 April.

The largest German robot competition was held this years for the ninth time. After participating for the first time last year, the Team of Bielefeld was successful again. It competed in the RoboCup @homeWettbewerb in which service robots demonstrate their qualities as assistants in the home.
