CITEC calls for applications for next round of BA and MA scholarships.

The Center of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology CITEC has six scholarships available for BA and MA students in the winter term 2011/12.

The aim of CITEC is to support excellent young students, interested in research. The grants are ment to acknowledge outstanding academic achievements, and shall encourage the grantees to engage with interdisciplinary research. Successful candidates will receive 1.200 € for one academic year.

They will be involved in research by advisors from within the working groups, and be invited to CITEC events.

Prof. Dr. Helge Ritter takes part in German-Japanese Workshop to explore possibilities of cooperation in the field of computational neuroscience

From March 2nd to 5th, 2011, a binational German-Japanese workshop in Okinawa, Japan, will explore potentials for collaborative research in the field of computational neuroscience.

Prof. Dr. Helge Ritter contributes to this workshop with a lecture on "Augmenting computational neuroscience from robotics - trying to grasp grasping".
