Bielefeld Interactive Intelligent Systems Exhibit at the AUTOMATICA 2010

With the Centre of Excellence on Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) and the Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab), Bielefeld University will be presenting its focus of research on interactive intelligent systems before an international expert public at the AUTOMATICA Fair in Munich from 8 to 11 June 2010.

This is the first time that CITEC and CoR-Lab are exhibiting at AUTOMATICA, and they will be displaying various exhibits from current research on robotics and human-machine interaction at their stands (Hall A2, Stands 540 and 540A). These offer an exciting cross-section of the different aspects of their interdisciplinary research field. The university's participation in numerous projects in the 7th EU Research Framework Programme, its research cooperations with partners in Japan and North America, as well as the productive cooperation with industry are all signs of the cutting-edge competitiveness of research at Bielefeld.

Parallel to AUTOMATICA, the leading international fair in the field of robotics and automation, the robotics conference ISR/ROBOTIK 2010 is also being held on the site of the new Munich trade fair centre. Participants at the joint conference of the International Symposium on Robotics 2010 (ISR) and ROBOTIK 2010 will be meeting at the International Congress Centre (ICM) from 7 to 9 June 2010.
