Abstract:

Heterogeneity in computing has gained considerable momentum over the past years. The possibility to match application-level diversity to architectural diversity has been an attractive option.
In this talk, I will present three ongoing projects that look at applications in life sciences with diverse performance and compute requirements.
In conclusion, I will present our work on performance prediction in heterogeneous systems that is relevant for all the three application scenarios.
