CITEC at Automatica 2018

Innovations from Bielefeld at the professional trade fair for automation

Mechanical hands that feel like human hands. A robot head that attentively monitors its surroundings. And mini robots that flexibly bypass obstacles. The Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) at Bielefeld University shows just how flexibly techincal systems can adapt to the world of humans in order to provide support in both daily life activities and the world of work.

From 19-22 June, these research prototypes can be seen at the Automatica Trade Fair in Munich, the largest international professional trade fair for automation, in Hall B4 at Booth 313.
